MwGh case 3011-b
Private residence, Springfield, Missouri
Upon their home burning down in Willard, we again, were contacted by our friends (formerly of Willard). They had moved to a home in Springfield, Mo and after several weeks began having similar experiences as they had at their Willard home. When we started this investigation, home felt organized/uncluttered and comfortable. As night progressed, the atmosphere changed...we've been at
this long enough to recognize the atmospheric shift; when the air gets heavier and the "being watched" feeling sets in. It became obvious, given our past history with this family, why they had every wall covered with religious symbols such as THIS. Shortly before our arrival, Deb, one of the homeowners, was scratched (again) on her right arm, the pic is HERE.
With only 3 investigators (rather than the usual 4) involved and the relatively small area, we decided to move as a group when all 3
investigators were inside. We were in the 3 year old child's room when the "feeling" changed and we snapped pics (we make it a practice to NEVER disturb items which are displayed or the folds in bed sheets, etc. initially; the first few hours of every investigation occur with everyone standing up). We conducted a lengthy EVP session (at this time, with all investigators in bedrooms, our recorder in the living room captured THIS sound which seems to be coming from the kitchen area). The homeowners have said they hear heavy bootsteps quite frequently.
Later in the evening, after conducting evp sessions in every room of the house, including the attic, we returned to bedrooms and realized that the pregnant figurine had been moved 5-7" forward (up and over a coaster which was sitting in front of it). We documented this by attempting to photograph it from same angle as original and moved on. Several hours later, we checked in on the statue again and it has been turned almost 180 degrees. None of our investigators were ever alone at any point during this investigation (partly due to our rocky relationship with their entity in Willard, but mostly to prevent contamination of evidence due to the small space and open flooring plan of the home). You can see that statue's progression HERE and we also captured pics of the drag marks the statue left on the table top, plus you can see how close to the edge of the table the statue was moved; that pic is HERE.
While in the attic (which, admittedly, had a creepy, heavy feel), we discovered artificial flowers scattered around the insulation in the attic. The residents claim that NONE of them have ever entered the attic since moving into the home, but did state that the previous owner was a practicing catholic priest. A recorder was placed in the attic and left for the entirety of the investigation. The pic of the flowers in the attic is HERE and we're not saying it's paranormal, just saying it's weird (who knows, previous owner may have just dumped them so he'd have a box to use for moving....now way to know).
During an EVP session in the master bedroom, a small, blue flashlight has been placed on the footboard of the bed (footboard was approximately 4 1/2" wide and totally flat and this flashlight was simply placed there as a holding spot, not as an experiment). When the entity was asked to make some noise, this flashlight suddenly got knocked off the bed. After combing through photos, we discovered THIS one which shows the original position of the flashlight, then HERE is the light's final resting place. Other possible reasons other than paranormal? Absolutely, but we couldn't seem to "make" it fall as hard as we tried, so it falls into the "maybe" category. It's only included here because we couldn't debunk it.
Upon returning back to main level (again, only 3 investigators were available for this investigation and we aremained together at ALL times when inside the home) we conducted an EVP session in main living room. We asked entity to "knock" and recorded a
disembodied voice which states "____ ______ the wall" which can be heard HERE. This was discovered after investigation concluded and is the SAME voice of "Walter" [considered by residents to be the friendly entity] which was recorded at the Willard
home, which requested we "go home" and warned us of "fire", which, at that time, we had no reference for, but later made sense when the home spontaneously burned to the ground). See if the voice sounds the same to you....here is the Willard "go home" audio HERE.
At this point, all investigators took a break outside for 8 minutes (with cameras/recorders still rolling inside). Upon our return, we conducted another EVP session in main living area where several pics were taken of Dustin asking questions. We got some interesting play with turning on/off a flashlight, but not overwhelming enough to include. We then moved on, again, to bedroom areas then later returned to main living room to see that 4 batteries, which had been placed in a camera bag which was on the floor hours earlier when we do our usual replacement of the batteries in ALL devices, had been removed and arranged on the floor. Upon photo review, we discovered that this apparently occurred during the EVP session, but due to total darkness, we weren't aware (you can see a clear floor in front of Dustin, then less than a minute later, the next pic clearly shows the batteries scattered on the floor) and this pic can be seen right HERE. We heard nothing and recorders picked up not a peep but the photos are time stamped only 1 minute apart and you can see Dustin's position has barely changed at all, I took the picture and never moved (we were listening for responses, so we were very still) and Tyler, our tech guru was sitting only feet away from Dustin on the fireplace; you can see that picture HERE). We were all 100% static, not moving at all.
Later in the evening, we took another break outside with cams/recorders rolling (we can be heard exiting the home) and seconds later, a speaking toy was activated in the main living area; the SAME toy which the homeowners claim says "hello", "goodbye" and "I see you" on cue. You can see a pic of the toy in question HERE and hear the audio right HERE. During evidence review, Chris called Deb (homeowner) and asked if there was a toy which says what you hear in the audio and she immediately sent the picture of the toy and said it had been an issue for quite a while. We examined the toy during our reveal meeting with the residents and there were no malfunctions and no way to "make" the toy speak by shaking table or tapping it. Upon examination of the toy, we discovered that the large "sun" button has to be pushed quite hard for the sound to occur (and we did comment on the above audio as we exited that we heard a clicking sound).

Photo #1 - scratches
Just before our initial walk-through, Deb, the homeowner, was scratched on her right arm. The scratches are visible in the photo to the left. Deb has experienced being scratched several times in the past, the photo of previous scratches on her leg can be seen HERE.
Photo #2 - statue
Only 3 investigators were able to attend this investigation, so we decided to travel in a pack to reduce evidence contamination due to this home's acoustics & we never touched the "pregnant figurine" on the night stand. However, on 3 occasions, we discovered it was being moved. We had asked the entity multiple times to "make a noise" or "move something" and this was the response. You can see a close-up of the drag marks on the table and just how close to the edge the statue was moved HERE.
photo #3 - batteries
We conducted an EVP session in the living room, then upon returning hours later, discovered 3 dead batteries (which had been placed in the camera bag on the floor) had jumped out and were arranged on the floor. At first, we though this happened during our time away from the room, but upon reviewing photos, it appears as though they jumped to floor during our EVP session in that room. You can see Dustin asking questions and his position has barely changed but in the second photo, there are suddenly batteries scattered on the floor in front of him. We conducted EVP session in total darkness and never heard a single sound, so this apparently happened in total silence.
EVP #1 - FOOTSTEPS
This audio was captured with all 3 investigators conducting EVP session in back bedroom. You can clearly hear heavy bootsteps (either in attic or on kitchen floor) which is one of the clients' claims. No investigators were near recorders at this time.
EVP #2 - VOCAL RESPONSE
With this EVP, we asked the entity (entities?) to "knock on the wall" to which we got a whispery/vocal response which says "____ ___ the wall". We've worked this one over and just can't make out the full sentence, unfortunately. Our best guess is "I'm behind the wall".
EVP #3 - TOY SOUND
Here we caught a toy making sounds just as we left the residence for a break. We comment on our way out that we heard a "click", then seconds later, you can hear the toy go off. The homeowner stated that this toy has been a frequent "responder" and we later examined it and discovered no malfunctioning parts and were unable to force it to make sounds by shaking table or tapping it (very hard).
